First plasma cutter I've ever used or owned! Works great. Read the book to learn how to use it correctly. I love the speed and cutting ability. I needed to cut some holes in the bottom of a 55 gallon drum. To drill them would have taken a bit of time, even longer with an angle grinder; but with this cutter... done in minutes! I had checked the specs of this and some other machines and felt that this one would handle the thickest metal that I would throw at it. It now sits between the two welders and is a lot of fun to use!

My first use of a plasma cutter and it sure worked good! Some of the instructions were a little confusing so I called the factory which was a big help. The factory answered the phone and was knowledgeable and helpful. Be sure to set your input air pressure to 35 PSI from your air compressor with a max setting of 60 PSI. I cut slices off 1/4 steel like cutting a slice of bread and I cut 1/2 inch steel almost as well. I have two Amico welders and have never had a problem with them and that is why I bought this plasma cutter. Happy I did!

The Amico 50 Amp Pro cuts better than a Miller 30 Amp machine, but not quite as well as our Hobart 40 Amp machine. It is about half the price of the Hobart machine, though, so I'm OK with it. Definitely a good valve, and consumables are inexpensive, as well. Being able to run on 110 V (though at only half the amperage) is nice when you don't have a 230 V outlet nearby. Definitely worth the money. Would probably buy again.

Cut through 1/4 inch angle iron with ease. Feels well built and durable.Looks nice and shiny. Took a few cuts to get comfortable and make straight cuts. Sure beats cutting with Sawzall and replacing expensive blades. Would buy again.

This is my first plasma cutter . I tried to use it at 110v with very little success once I switched to 220v it cut 1/4 inch very easy. Once I get better I will try my luck with the 110v again
