I love that the options on this player include cassette, CD, radio, aux, and bluetooth. It runs on batteries, ac, and usb, as well, which is great for travel buffs. I would not recommend paying the original advertised price of $100+, however, as the cassette door doesn't close properly and the construction of buttons and knobs feel less than solid. I am concerned that it may not last a long time, but for the price I paid, it will play my CDs, and that is why I bought it.

Product is as described. I read reviews prior to purchasing, so was prepared for the quality of the product. The knobs and push buttons are definitely cheap plastic, however, if you handle your purchase with care, they shouldn't be a problem. The sound is very good and is the operation of the unit. I haven't had an opportunity to try out the cassette portion of the unit, however, the CD functioned well. It's a bit awkward removing the CD for lack of finger room, but again, careful handling.

Item plays cd's, cassette tapes, radio. Uses 8 C batteries or power cord (supplied). Speakers aren't great and area around tuning knob appears to have been whittled on, doesn't appear to fit just right. Overall it does what it's supposed to do...play media. I'm satisfied.

Supersonic Portable Boombox
A great radio. Just what I wanted to play cds and cassettes and to record FAVORITE songs. Has a good radio. The sound is very good. A nice looking boombox. Got it at a reasonable price with all of the nice features. Thank you.

Slick high tech engineering falls short on instructions!
While the sound and functions are good, I found that the power cord does not fit tightly and drops out when the unit is handled while plugged into the wall. I also had difficulty figuring out how to use the Bluetooth feature as the word BLUE is not spelled out or abbreviated in the function window. And, the instructions do not explain all of the steps needed to get the selected function to work or how the power button has to be used in a sequence of steps to get the unit to play or perform the functions. After contacting the company tech support for help, I was then able to enjoy using the boombox. The battery placement diagram inside the case is nearly impossible to see without a magnifying glass and an LED flashlight. After some trial and error, one can get them in but not easily. ... Once the user gets past these questions, the unit will be fun to use.

This product is good for people who still use cassettes. It has nice sound for the system that it is. And the power output is matched well to the speaker system. The unit plays all formats and is B/T as well. The remote control is a nice option for elderly/disabled. So it's a matter of taste . Viewfish
