Good alternative to overpriced stock pump
This fuel pump seems to work well in my application. I have a 2003 Suzuki SV1000s and installed this pump expecting the worst. To my surprise, it seems to be as good as the stock pump ever was. At first I was apprehensive because of the Made in China sticker right on the package, however, it was explained to me that these pumps are assembled in china from components made in Japan. Whether this is the case or not, the unit hasn't missed a beat since installation which at this point is only a couple of days. The initial sound of the pump when turning the key was a little alarming as it is quite a bit louder than stock. Also, I can hear the pump whining away while the bike is running. This being said, if you can live with the noise difference, this is appears to be a good, cheap ... This fuel pump seems to work well in my application. There were many extra parts sent that cover other models that I will never use and the filter that was included for my model did not fit the pump inlet. Installing the pump required splicing wires together which I wasn't real excited about (more places for failure). Other than that, time will tell. Hop[efully this pump will last the 15 years that the stock unit did.

Incredible price (10% of OEM) and quality.
If you are looking for a replacement for your original equipment (OE) fuel pump this is the right part for the job. Kawasaki down the street said they would order the fuel pump for me only fully assembled into the pump housings, at over $300 shipped to the shop with a two weeks delivery time. The Kemso pump shipped to my door for $30 and came in just 2 days from when I ordered it. It bears the exact same dimensions as the OE fuel pump and fits the OE rubber o-rings perfectly. I would recommend replacement rubber, as the Kemso only came with one (1) o-ring when my bike takes two (2) of the same size for the pump. Make sure when you install the pump, the o-rings go on the pump, and not the pump housing. Otherwise the tank will leak. If you replace the pump yourself, do this outside in a ... After plugging all connections into the fuel pump, dry test it by plugging the pump onto the bike. Turn the bike on and make sure the cut off switch is in the "run" position. You should hear the fuel pump prime for around 3 seconds. Don't test it more than once it is supposed to run with fluid in it ;). If all is well put the pump on the bike and you are all fixed up! This pump is a bit louder when priming compared to the OE pump, I like it!

Great little pump. Needs better parts to fit to my bike.
I've only used it for one test ride but seems good so far. Used in my 08 Husqvarna TE610. It almost a match for the factory unit with the exception of the flex hose it comes with that has the same size on both ends unlike OEM that is smaller at one end. It required a a bit to modify that but all else seems great.

This is a great kit. It has everything I needed at a fraction of the cost. The only advice I would offer is if you are having trouble getting the seal to stay seated when re-installing just warm it up and it will be much easier. I was trying to get it done on a cold day. It's a great product, I'm just trying to share what helped me get the job done.

replacement for BMW R 1200 C Absolutely works fine no problems in line did not use the existing clamps used true fuel line clamps that were purchased at a local O'Reillys should be included did a 200 and some dollar job for 40 some dollars out the door. BMW dealer wanted over $800. fun project easy to do needed fuel filter too. Best michael
