So they are a good deal compared to other prices, and are working good so far, but one is having trouble with stoppers coming back out and when i tried pushing it further in it went straight through and is in the brew now. another is already starting to show nicks in the glass and I have been very careful with them, I hope it's not weak glass and about to break, only time can tell. Great value. A little thicker than the previous design.
These newer design gallon jugs (with a wider collar on top and "one gallon" embossed ONLY on one side) are about 3oz heavier than the previous design. (Pictured above is still the older style (as of Jan 2023)). Bottom concave area is slightly asymmetrical, however.

Very useful for a number of home made projects. These are nice thick glass and should stand up for years of use and abuse. Be sure to order the lids !
