1 oz is the perfect size for me, helps to reach hard places. Need some time to rate performance, but many of the top names in reel repair recommend, so I'm in.

I've used Reel-X for around two decades in fishing reels and other gear. When I surf fish, my reels always end up underwater, and saltwater is incredibly corrosive. Reel-X protects the bearings and moving parts from corrosion. It rinses off fairly easily, which is a plus for me. Tiny bits of sand cling to the oil inside the reel, and when I rinse out the reel with freshwater, the Reel-X takes the sand and salt residue with it. After the reel dries out, I squirt in a few small drops of Reel-X, and I'm ready to go. I use Corrosion X for any lubrication job where I'd use WD40. It works better, and doesn't leave a residue that after time becomes gummy and clocks up.

Applies easily if you cut tip off very close to top...cut too wide and you'll use too much.
