    Damaged back mount plate renewal procedure

    This is a much better option than a replacement mount without the connection block and foil connection strip if not as cheap. With a steady hand remove the four screws, the sticky tape from over the circuit board connector block. Make sure you don't dislodge any of the small rubber stand off supports. Ease out the old foil and insert the new connector foil taking care not to kink the foil. Replace sticky tape and mount screws. Test on camera. Job done.

    Good solution

    In the case of a plastic bayonet, material breakage sometimes occurs. If the lens itself is in good condition, it is definitely useful to replace the bayonet ring with a new one. So you can quickly forget about the problem.

    Just Exactly what is needed

    If you have accidentally broken your lens cover retainer then strongly recommend this option rather than just the cover without the wiring as this is complete with wiring and straight forward to change yourself.
