    Descent Product

    Works well enough, I drew a black line on the receiver with a "Sharpie" so the laser would show up better. As with most other reviews, the magnets that hold the device to the pulley gets in the way on smaller pully's. The battery that it came with is already dying after one use _ no big deal. I had to tape the switch on the laser so it comes on, on very large pully's. In my case I didn't have to use the receiver, the laser landed right on top of the centre groove.

    Great product. It really helped to align my pulley’s on my 97 ford ranger. It’s had this terrible squeal on start up every since I bought it. Worked like a charm. Fairly priced I might add. Shipped quickly also.

    Belt alignment

    This is a useful tool. One suggestion I have is to be able to mount the laser on any pulley rather than only the large pulleys. Likewise for the target. It only works on the smaller pulleys.

    Great kit to have…

    Price was great! Some sell for twice as much…shipping was fast! I did an LS swap in a 65 C10 with aftermarket power steering, alternator and A/C compressor. Had some squealing coming from the belt. With the naked eye you couldn’t tell, but the A/C pulley was off a grove. It’s perfectly aligned now!

    Great tool

    Have used this tool to fix two different alignment issues. Works great. Some pulleys aren’t magnetic so you might have to hold it on by hand or tape it on but very effective.
