I have bought 250 of these batteries and tested everyone of them they average about 1000 Mah however as other people have noted the batteries are under weight that is true but realize that the 5800 number they are talking about is the 1 time use number meaning you overcharge and then drain to 0 then you throw it away.... however if you put it through the normal charge range 4.2 - 3.0 you can expect about 1000 cycles then it will go to 80 % capacity and so on. side note also if you charge to 3.7 ~ 3.8 - 3.0 you can get 4000 cycles. the main point this is that on a cost basis these are the best I have seen, I have put one though about 200 cycles now and there was no noticeable difference ( it tested 1081 - 1064 ) that also being said these are obviously produced in china as there are multiple misspellings of the packaging not that I am one to critique that but just so your aware.Read full review

5800 mAh batteries don't exist yet. Highest capacity of 18650 batteries on the market as of 2017 is around 3600 to 3800 mAh for about 10 USD per battery/cell. But these are 1USD per battery. So I would recommend a single battery like this for starters, and a cooresponding zoomable xml t6 flashlight for around 3 USD. Great for work or play and if you lose or destroy it, its 4 dollars gone. Also when they are done charging, take them off the charger if you don't get a real good one. Cheap chargers can overcharge and kill or even detonate Li-ion batteries, especially unprotected cells like these. I don't recommend these for headlamps. They run out quick on the brighter lamps and are frustrating. I recommend tenergy 18650 for that. Tenergy cells last for at least an hour, but they are quite a bit more money.Read full review

I use these batteries in all my flash lights and bicycle headlights. These really save me a lot of money on batteries and charging times because they usually last about a month on my bicycle and about 9 months in my flash lights. They hold a lot of charge and output is very strong and consistent.

Looks good, more than double the power and duration of the others i have tried. They were smaller capacity, but I have found that generally the power ratings of Lithium ion batteries are not consistant. This one is more powerful than any other i have used to date.

I'm not sure these really have 5800 mAh capacity as I haven't measured them. They do well to make up small battery packs for a Baofeng radio pair and for other applications for which I need the 18650. Price was excellent
