Five years ago, we adopted a stray Beagle who wandered up to our home and wouldn't leave. Soon thereafter, he was diagnosed with hip dysplasia - a condition in which the hip ball and socket joint has a very loose fit, causing pain and limited mobility. His condition deteriorated rapidly. Our vet told us he would soon have to be put down or have expensive and problematic surgery. He suggested Dasuquin as a last-ditch attempt to save him. After 5 or 6 weeks, "Tramp" was fully mobile again. After a couple of months, he was running, jumping, chasing squirrels, and acting like a puppy. We're not sure of his age, but estimate it to be 7 or 8 years. He still ruins and plays, has running fits to greet us when we come home, and generally acts like a young dog. We highly recommend Dasuquin without reservation. BVC, Chapel Hill, NCRead full review

We have a nine-year-old bichon frise who had suffered from knee problems for a couple of years. Sometimes she could go up stairs easily and sometimes she can't. Last year, our vet recommended that we try giving her Dasuquin; and it has basically eliminated her problems. After being on the pills for about a month, she seemed 75% better and within a couple of months, she stopped hesitating on the steps or when attempting to jump into her favorite chair. We wholeheartedly recommend this product for arthritis. I always buy the largest size because that is the best value. Dasuquin is expensive but our vet bills would be much higher if it weren't for this product.

My doctor recommended Dasuquin for my dog because she has arthritis and cartilage issues. Since she's been taking Dasuquin, she seems much more chipper and gets around more easily. She's a senior dog (13), so I'm very happy about this. I noticed that one of my cats was taking Cosequin, but now Dasuquin is available for cats, too. So, I changed for Alfie, too.

My 120 lb. German Shepard played too rough with another big dog and broke both ACL's in back legs. He could barely walk and we were looking at $5,000 surgery. The vet suggested giving Dasuquin a try. It's nothing short of a miracle. ACL's do not heal themselves. He's running again, no pain. He didn't like the flavor so I tuck the pill in a "meatball" of canned dog food, another suggestion by his vet. He learned to sift through the meatball with his tongue and spit out the pill so now he gets one meatball with the pill followed immediately with another meatball. He hones in on getting the second one and forgets to check for the pill in the first.
