    i can not leave any feedback because i still have the same problem the fan still does not spin fast enough im sure that the part is fine possible not getting enough current maybe the switch is bad i would still recommend it because they do go bad that is all i have to say

    Fixes your slow and humming oscillating fan, not just ceiling fan

    I looked up the specs for my Hunter oscillating fan capacitor. When I found this one, it kept talking about ceiling fans, and the picture doesn't show that it has a tab for a screw to secure the capacitor to the surface of the inside of the fan base. I figured it didn't matter. But when it arrived, it did have the screw tab! It looked like the perfect fit and it was. I wired it up and it WORKED PERFECTLY. I thought it was the motor windings or brushes at first, but there are none on this motor. This is a 'start and run' capacitor. Exactly what my problem was with the fan. I basically overhauled the fan with this one part and it works like it's brand new. I love it.

    i can not leave any feedback because i still have the same problem the fan still does not spin fast enough im sure that the part is fine possible not getting enough current maybe the switch is bad i would still recommend it because they do go bad that is all i have to say

    Perfect functional replacement for the burned-up factory capacitor!

    This capacitor is a perfect functional replacement for the factory-installed capacitor that burned up (literally) from normal use of an ornate ceiling fan. A local fan repair shop said it was very important to directly match the capacitance specs on the original capacitor. This capacitor was the only one available on eBay at the time which matched all the specs. The wire colors were different but it was easy to graft them onto the correct original wires. The fan works perfectly and is quieter than ever.

    Ceiling Fan Capacitor

    Worked as intended. Wished I would have purchased one with 3 - 3.5 if one the first circuit. Fan runs a little too fast on low. Going to leave it as is for now. Quality product, company shipped right away. Couldn’t have asked for better.

    Mr. Faraday would be proud.

    This is an awesome capacitor, it packs enough farads to keep your motor purring away like a kitten on catnip. I bought this for a gear reduction motor as a substitute since the OEM capacitor was no longer available. Despite the moniker "Ceiling Fan" a Farid is a Farid and a Volt is a Volt so it will work just fine as long as its within the spec of your motor.
