    only a temporary fix.

    The unit is an after market reproduction.. I have not had good luck using them...they do not give accurate readings to the temp.gage. and fail within a few months..

    Fine

    It worked, takes a long time to read any temp below 180 but at around 190 the gauge starts to respond. There is another temp gauge to compare the actual temperature of the engine. Tell Stu that I'll live with it and thanks.
