    7 Year Bitch-Sick 'Em

    This is the first cd that 7 Year Bitch released in 1992 that is very hard to find, because I do not see it anywere else, but on E-bay. This cd was released right after the lead guitarist, by the name of Stephanie Sargent, died of a drug overdose at age 24. This is the earliest that I have heard of a rockstar dying of anything, unfortunately, since Hendrix, Joplin, Morrison, and Kobain all died at the age of 27. The cd is dedicated to her by the group. All of the songs sort of blend together and sound the same through the whole cd, to some degree. The cd is pretty good though, even though I like the second cd "Gato Negro" a bit more because the songs on "Gato Negro" each have their individual sound a bit more than this one. The guitar sound is a little bit more rough like L7 on this ...

    the first original "all-girl" seattle band

    7 year bitch was the most overlooked bands in alternative music hitory. That being said, this album 'sick 'em' was their first release and quite possibly their best trecording to date. This shows how an all-girl band from Seattle can play something other than grunge. This is pure unadulterated punk rock!
