High Ground is about bringing soldiers the rest of the way home from war.
This is an excellent documentary movie, including interviews with veterans who have physically returned from war, but are still struggling to come the rest of the way home to find peace and a renewed sense of purpose in their lives. We cannot forget these men and women who have served their country! High Ground is about one approach to helping them find the self-confidence, focus and sense of accomplishment needed in order to put the war behind them. But when the movies is over, please make a personal commitment to reach out to Afghan and Iraq war veteran with an offer of support. Sometimes just being prepared to listen can make a big difference.
