I had to send it back at my expense and wait until they got it before they sent the item I originally paid for out. So that wasn't fun. Then item arrives and it is meh. It is as described (bad battery, no other testing done), but it was also previously returned to Apple under warranty and as such, they won't replace the battery under any circumstances. So now I have to go to one of those mall kiosks and hope for the best. Or just buy another one that wasn't turned in broke

Nothing but the tablet in a bubble wrap sleeve in a large box with some brown crumpled paper on top. It could have been damaged if the box was treated too rough, but it wasn't and it made it through ok!
