    Nostalgic and functional

    My GF, a record store manager, wanted a CD walkman that could handle the rigors of traveling in her purse and could also read mp3's. This player does just that and brings her back to a time when these things were common--modern portable disc players do not come close to vintage SONY quality (we were previously using a INSIGNIA player purchased new from the big box store). In addition to G-protection, and ability to read mp3 discs, the SONY D-CJ01 (which is what I bought and am reviewing) saves your place on the CD when you turn it off. Very handy. And for a used vintage electronic device it was in surprisingly good condition.

    I just love it!!

    Great design and wonderful quality sound!! It took me about 5 years to get this CD mp3 player back to me, I had one back in 2002 and lost it. Lots of good memories come to me with this Cd player!
