Amazing quality for the price.
I have used a few of these mounts now and can not see why anyone would pay $200 - $300 for a different brand. These are trusted on my hunting rifle as well as my target rifle. Rock Solid AR Mount
This is my 3rd PEPR mount. Burris has several variants and I have tried both the quick attach/detach model and the permanent mount variant. Both types are excellent heavy-duty mounts that hold zero well, look great. Maybe the only drawback some might mention is the weight. But then with a burly mount like this that is to be expected. My view is what's in ounce or so in the grand scheme of things? The mount comes with quality hardware, two sets of top rings, one set with picarinny rail slots and one set that are plain. I prefer the plain top rings myself. You can't go wrong with one of these PEPR mounts!

Burris AR PEPR Scope Mount
The Burris AR PEPR has a perfect forward eye relief. The machining is precise and the option of 1” diameter or 30mm diameter or 34mm diameter covers most scope tubes for hunting, target, or tactical applications. I know when I can torque 1/2” nuts to 60” lbs on my picatinney base, that this base is secured and without guessing. I have several on AR-15 and AR-10 rifles and not one has ever had an issue or a defect of any kind. Try one for yourself and I’m sure you will be well satisfied.

Bought this to install on my 6.5 CM AR. I purchased a Burris Elite Tactical scope also. This mount is well made and sturdy. The scope has a 50 mm objective lens and gives it plenty clearance. These mounts are super sturdy. I own two now and for any semi auto loading —— I would highly recommend this. It keeps scopes stable and doesn’t let them rotate or move like some name brand, but weaker, mounts do. They are built sturdy and haven’t failed me yet, just wish I would’ve committed to the quick-detach model. But I’m not disappointed with the one !!! Works great on Ruger AR-556
This is indeed a great quality mount. I didn't want to spend this much on a mount, but after doing some research, you're better off getting a good quality mount like this instead of dealing with the headaches associated with a cheap mount. This was installed on the Ruger AR-556 and fit great. I mounted a Vortex Viper PST scope with it. On the Ruger AR-556, this scope and mount combination doesn't allow the rear flip-up sight to flip-up, so you can't use co-witnessing in this configuration. The only complaint I might make about this mount is that they use star head screws instead of hex head. It includes the star wrench, but this isn't near as common as hex head bolts. You shouldn't ever have a need to undo them once you've installed your scope, so this really isn't important, but just a thought. I would definitely recommend this mount and I think it's worth the money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
