Budget priced doesn't mean less Features or less quality.
I installed this filter after recent drilling company's fracked wells around our house. The water was already irony but now had a sulfur smell to it. It took about 20 minutes to install (follow the instructions that are included) They give you plenty of hosing just in case you miss cut the length, Filters are clearly labeled (just make sure to unwrap them) Heres where people mess up, Follow the instructions!! Turn on your water, purge the air out, the water is going to be black for a few seconds from dust inside the carbon filters. at this point if if your water is clear and you decide to taste it its going to have a chemical taste, Leave your water running for 15 to 30 min and purge it a few times that day. My water was completely clean and free of any smell the next day. Was one of the best Purchases i have made on Ebay. Good system but had trouble with it leaking.
It seem to filter well but I had trouble with a leak.. It was with one of the connectors.. not the casing that holds the filters..I started to return it but I like the way it works and it is not fun to have to take it apart and to send it back..I found a way to seal it with a compound and I put a container underneath to catch any water as I also found that it will sweat.. I should not have had to do all this but I did.. so I am letting you know about it.. It is a good product but there are problems and I am not the first person complaining about leaks..I am not a professional tester so I am not sure how good of a filter system this is but I do know my coffee taste better..Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Difficult installation.
I had used this same filter in a different home, and knew that the system itself was what we wanted in this case. The installation, however, did not proceed as planned. As it turned out, the hose material supplied with the filter, was of a consistency that did not allow for an easy installation of the compression fitting used to tap off from the cold water supply. One compression fitting was destroyed in the process, and an extra trip to secure a second fitting was necessary. Significant heat had to be applied, during the the assembly process, to make a successful connection. That was a trying and frustrating experience for which I am not appreciative, hence my rating.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Beware of your granite countertop width, faucet may not fit like mine...
Bought this item on October, warranty expired, I was installing the whole system today, after connecting everything and proceed to install the water faucet it didn't fit on the granite countertop,it's to short the under tube to connect the water line, needs to be 3" long, the one provided by the system is like 2" and can't put the nut to screw it and tight it down. Ended up buying new faucet for $35 so I can use it. Also you need to buy separate the waste water adapter to installed it on the drain pipe.

Great bang for the buck $$
Plastic is a little thin, thinner than my last RO that is being replaced. I had to crank pretty hard on the first filter cylinder to seal it up or stop it from dripping. Well worth the money
I live in the country and my water is from a well. I have a softer on my main line and this connected at my kitchen sink. I did not like the taste or smell of my water but this unit works just fine and I have no need to buy bottled water any more. This was very easy to install with the purchase of an additional inlet connector and drain connector since my plumbing is pex tubing. Economic Altetnative
I bought this system to replace a two stage DuPure ststen installed by my home builder. The replacement filters were about 120 dollars and I refuse to get ripped off like that. This system was very easy to substitute my previous system. The water tastes fine but I have not had it tested. Cheap..not worth price

Could come with more adequate installation instructions
