Near-Perfect Action-Comedy Gem
After seeing it from Redbox, I had to have my own copy to see again occasionally. Wonderful script, great acting and direction. Bautista is one of those rarities - a big, bodybuilder-type guy with great comedic timing. And Nanjiani, of course, is right in his element with those wonderful deadpan responses and a wide range of emotions and attitudes. Only one scene mars this perfect jem - the partner-go-shot sequence, where supposed LAPD cops are firing at a perp in a crowd of people - really broke the suspension-of-disbelief for a while.
