    This extension was of great quality and good condition. It would have been an excellent value except I discovered the tool had been etched with owner marks that were not noted in the description.     Item was as described but just didn't like that there was two damage spots on two different corner side's of the box on it which is also why I rated (item condition) with it being new at least 4 stars and the packaging wasn't that Great either with it not having any bubble wrap wrapped around it at all but still decent of a good packaging condition though when i received it that had at least paper wrap within it but other then that A+++ Seller overall and Great communication as well to👍

    Thanks for the review!, just as a note, pictures did show the box status. there is a picture of the top of the box in our listing for this one. The damage was from the overstock company we purchased it from so we made sure to take picture of it and add it to our listing.

    Works well for older PS2 devices

    This is great for a newer motherboard without PS2 ports. I pair it with my old PS2 keyboard and it works flawlessly. I may pair with an older PS2 mouse also. You get both ports with a single USB port. Would recommend this brand. The only issue I have is sometime when I boot and need to get into my BIOS it doesn't turn on and I get an error that no keyboard attached. After clicking the reset button, "an absolute must have for any computer imho" I get my computer to see my keyboard again.

    Works great with my 8-port KVM switch

    I have an old KVM switch which is pretty finicky about the keyboard & mouse ports. When plugged in directly to those ports I sometimes lose connection when switching to those ports. Using this USB adapter I'm getting consistent performance when I switch ports. I now have all 4 Windows Servers connected using this USB adapter.

    Perfect for my application

    I have an old-but-good Microsoft ergonomic keyboard and an old-but-good Logitech trackball, both with PS2 connectors. I use them with an old-but-good KVM switch with PS2 connections to my all of my old-but-good computers. Now I just installed a new-fangled motherboard that has only a single PS2 connector. Another adapter that I have tried (basically a PS2 splitter) worked OK for the mouse, but not the keyboard. This adapter is perfect for both. Just plug the PS2 connectors from the KVM switch at the position for this computer, plug this unit's USB-A connector to the motherboard and it works. (Huzzah) Bottom line: Good value/price\e, works great, fast/freee shipping within the U.S. If they had six stars, you would get them all

    Unexpectedly Good for the price.

    Under preliminary testing right now. It is paired with an older Genius NetMouse and a Compaq Model 5107 Keyboard. I've used previous adapters over a decade ago and they all had a multitude of issues. This one from Monoprice not only worked proper right off but there are no untoward issues with double typing or latency. The mouse works proper and all buttons are well mapped. So far this is well recommended and had renewed my faith in these adapters. Tested platform so far is an Asrock 970M Pro3 motherboard using both Windows 7N and Windows 10N.
