can be made to work
10 round model for the CZ 712 works ok except it doesn't feed the last round properly. Tried it with the follower that came with it and the original cz follower with the same result. I called Carlson and they were helpful. They sent me a new spring but it made no difference. So I put the Carlson follower in the breach end of the tube which compresses the spring about 2 3/4" and still allowed 9 rounds to be loaded in the tube. I.used the original cz follower in the proper location. That seems to have fixed the problem.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Good build quality, but maybe really 9+1
The build quality is good, and the parts install easily and quickly. It mostly works fine... The only slight issue is that I feel like the spring isn't quite strong enough because the tenth and last shell fails to feed properly about 1 time in 4. Also, that first shell inserted into the tube doesn't meet a lot of resistance because the spring is under no compression at that time. All that said, the gun is pretty new and without many rounds through it. I feel like over time, everything may smooth out enough so that last shell feeds reliably. For now though, I put a spacer in the tube to add some preload to the spring, and live with 9+1 shells instead. No biggie...Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
