Good Quality Lock but Programing Instruction Sucks
This is a great lock! This is my third keyless smart key from Kwikset, and they all have been great. The only complaint I have regarding this lock is the installation instructions on the programming: very vague. The reset insteuction was wrong. I had to youtube many videos and took me more than 1 hour to finally reset and programmed the code. I didn't have issue with the other keyless entries I own.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

I had a Kwikset Model 909 which failed after 4 years. Changed batteries in this Model 909 and from that point it never operated again. The new open box Model 270 works flawlessly with a sound that works freely. The older Model 909 made a noise that sounded like it was struggling.
