    It helped move us on as no other country (maybe little England) could emerge victorious from WW II.

    I had a good answer and zip - it disappeared! But to make a quick reply - it made the time real and the following depression so very destructive of our country. In a dreadful way, World War II saved our economy and brought the country together!

    Excellent book and a great history of the 1920's!

    This is a fantastic book, especially since it's now a century. It was a fascinating time period and the book has it all organized for the different things going on: Music, banking, Harlem, clothing styles. It's awesome!
