    Great new brakes on an old Trek!

    High quality brake caliper for an older bike. I've been riding my old Trek for years and I finally decided to replace the original calipers. Now my bike brakes like new. Easy to replace and the brake levers return from stop nicely. I also replaced the cables and now I have a perfectly safe bike that should be good for another 20 years!

    Tektro and Shimano mounting hole not matched!

    I have a TREK 7200 cyclocross bike with Tektro V-brakes. I bought a Shimano Alivio BR-T4000 for replacement. Found out that Shimano V-Brakes (all models I have searched) has shallower hole step that doesn't seat fully. Returned it back and purchased this Tektro 857AL which is a perfect match! I have photo but unable to attach, sorry.

    Good quality brake

    Ordered this brake to replace a broken one on my bike. The installation was easy and am really pleased with the quality. The brakes are easily aligned to the wheel I used. They operated perfectly the first time, no squeak noise just smooth quiet braking. I recommend this brake for your mountain bike, good quality at a good price.

    Upgrade for Vintage Hybrid with Fenders

    Added a pair of these to a 1992 Schwinn Criss-Cross. The bosses are positioned a bit differently relative to the wheel front & back, but there is ample range of adjustment in these brakes. Plenty of room for fenders over the wheels. Price is right.
