Well worth the price
I just put this together today using a stainless steel barrel. I fired it for the first time this evening and it works great. I did see that I’ll have to take the outlet back off and seal around the base of it with wood stove cement because of a small amount of smoke leakage. This stopped after it heated up enough to draft right. I bought it to heat a 1,000 square foot shop with a 13 foot ceiling. I’ve got a feeling that it’ll probably get WAY hotter than I need for that. I might have a section of the top cut out and a flat plate welded in so that it can be used as a cook top as well. If you need a cheap wood burning stove this kit is the way to go.
