    Great model! bight lights.

    I built this ship and decided to paint the model to spec. That was a very wise choice with this model, however you do not need to paint it. I did however paint this model and I added the telegraph wires, as well as guy wires on the stacks. this model is large enough to add your own touch to it, yet small enough to place anywhere in your room. The stacks are orange that is the only thing I did not like. I mixed yellow and white model paint to get the correct color for the stacks. The LED lights are nice and very bright, You can solder them in or use the electric tape for those of you who are not good at soldering. All in all this is a fantastic model.

    Great detail with very tiny parts

    This model turned out great and looks wonderful with a little extra paint for detail. It was however, one of the most difficult models I have ever built. I have been building detailed models since a teen Ager (now 64 yrs old) and this was the first one where I had to use tweezers and magnifying glasses to properly position and place parts. I have relatively small hands and still could not handle many of the small pieces without assistance of tweezers. Tip: I would suggest using a thin white mess of some material to place inside the parameter of the hull so when lit up (by the LED lights) the light will be more evenly distributed.

    Simply the Best!

    This is the best model kit and value this 66 year old model nut has ever seen. Not only that the ship lights up on your mantle the parts have zero flash and are in pre painted racks even though you will want to paint here and there. The whole hull is a pre painted 1 piece job.Atttttt all the way. Even the instructions are superb!
