    In the early days of The Console Wars...

    The ColecoVision was a fantastic console in its day. In the modern era of new generic hardware to run older games, no developer has made 3rd party ColecoVision hardware, so the only way to experience it is through the actual original hardware.

    Reliving my childhood.

    Growing up on video games early I started off with the Atari, and gradually got into the C64. I remember playing this at a friend's house, and was impressed how close games looked to the arcade. I never had one as I graduated to the NES, and later the genesis. I prefer original hardware to emulation so I wanted to get my hands on a Colecovision. An with the atari adapter I can play Atari 2600 games as well. Retro fans should really check out this old system.

    Colecovision system

    This is a surprisingly fun game system. It has a lot of the old arcade games available for it which are pretty cheap to get. You can also get various modules for it like the Atari module and play all 2600 games as well. The controllers are not the best but otherwise I prefer this system over all the others in that generation. Overall it is a must have for retro gamers.

    Next Generation Performance

    Amazing graphics, featuring a state of the art RF connector, this ColecoVision outputs a steady and barely visible signal on Channel 3/4 of any CRT or antenna based TV set. I added an AV mod to bring things to about 1976, making a comparable difference to modern 4K and OLED based displays. The ColecoVision offers a 40-80 year working environment with little degradation to components. Games still work and cost less than $20 on average. May last through WWIII, and came with styrofoam box as well. Performs flawlessly and would recommend to any millennial.
