Only one remote works at a time
I bought this to have 2 remotes for my TV. I found out only one remote can be programmed to work at any given time. Therefore if you program this new one your old one won’t work and vice versa. I you need a replacement because something is wrong with your original remote, this this would be great as a replacement. I sent mine back for a refund as my original works fine. OEM part - exact design, build and function as the original.
This is an OEM remote control with the same exact build and function as the one that came with the TV - it's perfect. The only issue is with the TV itself, it can only pair with one remote at a time so if you want two remotes to control the same TV you're out of luck. You can run the quick pairing routine if you happen to grab the wrong one, but then the other one won't work - until you re-pair that one to the TV. Direct factory replacement
So, my dog eats remotes. It's a thing. When he ate our factory Samsung remote, I was obviously less than pleased since the unit replacement cost was $70. This $30 replacement is factory new, a Samsung product, came wrapped in cellophane, programmed itself in about 10 seconds, and the mic works. It's like "Fleetwood" never even at the first one. Only One Remote at a Time
This remote is an exact match of the remote that came with my TV. I ordered a second one because we have two sets of controllers for each of our audio/visual device. We each have a set next to our recliners so we don't have to pass them back and forth.
