Every inch of it, from the well inlayed company logo, to the perfectly done tortoise shell binding and fretwork to the lightly aged bronze hardware is perfect. This octave mando easily is on par with any of the "name brand" ones ive seen or held, and its being sold at a fraction of the price. It has a bright sound and the volume louder than my other mandolin which was bult in Tennesse - USA. I bought a hardshell case and gave it a good polish which greatly improved the overall look. Imperfections in the finish are minor and the build quality seems precise, glue joints neat. Packaging and shipping good - 3 wks for international shipping.
