    Perfect for LED

    Although this particular model was not specifically recommended by the makers of the new retro edison filament LED bulbs, many of Lutron's other model CL dimmers were, and in several reviews on Amazon. Just like them, this slider dimmer acts like the old fashioned dimmers with incandescent bulbs, it lowers the LED lamps down to a dim glow, and smoothly increases up to full brightness. According to the website specs, this dimmer will work with a combination of LED and incandescent bulbs, so you may not need to switch out all your lights if you have more than one kind on a dimmer.

    I functions fine, but neither the toggle switch or dimming slider operate smoothly. It's just a small mechanical/esthetic quality problem.

    It functions fine. However the switch toggle and the dimmer slider have a "rough" feeling when operated, not smooth. Just an esthetic/Quality element which could be better.

    Noisy but nice.

    This lighting dimmer fits a standard toggle switch wall plate and dims a five lamp LED fixture perfectly. My only disappointment is that it generates a large amount of buzzing radio interference. It overwhelms a portable AM radio carried anywhere in our house. that's not a product defect, it's made that way with insufficient internal noise filtering. No mention is made of that on the dimmer's packaging.

    Buy for 3 way led bulb install.

    Works as advertised, easy to install as long as you know your correct wires for 3way installation. If using LED bulbs remember to adjust sensitivity switch as needed as initially I thought mine was defective.

    Easy Installation & Works Great

    I purchased 2 of these switches to dim new LED lights I installed in a couple of rooms. I installed one switch as single pole and the other in a 3-way circuit. Easy installation and they work great. Only downside, a bit pricey.
