BONDIC IS A CONVENIENT GLUE FOR SMALL REPAIRS AROUND THE HOUSE

First, the good stuff. The Bondic is a very handy glue to make simple tasks around the house such as to seal leaks in a water line, repair broken eyeglasses, etc. The unit is self contained in that the thick syrup-like is applied from one end as needed, preferably not real thick, and then the UV light on the other end is directed into the glue which hardens to the touch in five or six seconds, although still a bit tacky. I like to treat with the light for about ten or so seconds. I recently repaired the earpiece of my wife's reading glasses which held up for about a week which involved her taking them off and on frequently. Putting the parts back together, I found the residue of glue that was still attached allowed the parts to stick together while I "beefed up" the break with a bit more of the glue. So far, this seems to have solved the problem. How much this product is liked will depend on the uses. I recently used it to make a small gasket which worked well because when the liquid is cured, it remains slightly flexible. The flexibility can be a great asset unless a hard glue such as epoxy is needed. For me, I find that I reach for the Bondic first when a repair is called for - most of the time it has served its purpose well.

    Worked okay but...

It worked OK but it clogged after the first time I used it. I had to unclog it with a needle. It still wouldn't flow as it is supposed to so I just used it without the tip. This made me use more of the product than was really necessary. I like the product but I wish these things would be fixed. I hesitantly recommend this product; because it is a little troublesome.

  • Unique glue

Unlike other glue products, the liquid never goes solid until exposed to the uv light, so it will keep in the tube until the next need arises. Other products work well the first time, but will harden in the container preventing use at a later date. Also, this product has a nearly instant bonding quality when exposed to the uv light so keeping the pieces together until bonding takes place is much faster and easier. Overall really great. The only down side I have found is it is not as strong a bond as some other products, but applying two or three coats of bondic has always resulted in a strong bond in my experience.

  • Worked as Advertised

This product is good. There are also other products like it which are just as good. For the money, it is good. Could I have gotten the same type of product and results for less? perhaps so; but I went with this product just to see if it was all it says it is. It was, meaning it worked as advertised when used as directed. Would I purchase it again? most likely, yes.

  • Amazing stuff, but expensive

Bondic is incredible. It works on almost any surface, but is especially useful for plastic repairs. Ever try to glue a plastic eyeglass frame? Bondic makes it as strong as it originally was. The only drawback is the price. Very expensive for a small quantity. But when all else fails, I guess it's worth it.

  • Great Adhesive!

If you've ever used Bondic, you already understand how terrific it is. I've been focusing on getting two or three of the best adhesives available so that when something breaks I have the best adhesive for the repair on hand. Bondic, E6000 and a DAP product are my three go to adhesives. This stuff rocks!

  • Excellent cement for some plastics

Very good IF you follow instructions carefully! Works best on clean fractures since surfaces MUST fit closely! Pieces must be held together tightly while ultra-violet light (provided) causes cement to cure. Expensive and delicate, but what other choice does one have for difficult to cement plastics?

  • Bondic refill

Bondic glue is amazing. It bonds things together that you never thought could be repaired. It's also easy to use and doesn't make a mess.

  • How fast

I needed to repair a small tear in a piece of leather . I’ve tried to do a similar repair before with flexible tape which took much more time. This glue made got the job done faster and easier with a much neater look I’ll definitely use it again.

  • If you want something glued this is the product.

Amazing stuff! I don't know if everyone knows but this is the glue the dentist uses to cement teeth. I love this product. Only problem is you don't get much out of the refill or the initial amount of glue that comes with the package. That doesn't reflect on the seller.....
