This product helps kitties be a bit calmer by putting good-smelling happy pheromones in the air. People can't smell them but the cats seem to; not all cat-on-cat aggression is eliminated, but it would be worse without the happy smells from Feliway. It really does work!
I was skeptical when I first tried using them for my two cats that 'tolerate' each other. It's made a huge difference in their behavior! There's less hissing and fighting....and if they start, it ends quickly. I will continue buying it. I place one in each room since they have the run of the house. Absolutely I'd recommend it.
Our cat was the only cat for a couple of years then along came a kitten. She was not happy. Kept the kitten in a carrier overnight for her safety. Then we used the plug in Feliway. What a difference it made. From trying to constantly trying to attack the kitten (I'm sure I heard her say "I'll get you my pretty") to putting up with kitten and now they are friends and playing with each other.
