Great Value and the Highest dose available but HUGE and difficult to swallow
From my research, because you really don't feel effects from milk thistle, this is rated the most potent extract and best value for the amount of extract in each pill. Consumerlab analyzes supplements and unlike like most, this one has all the mg stated on the label and it's a huge amount. I don't think there is a stronger Milk Thistle extract available. That part is just great. The reason I didn't give a five-star rating is that it's the biggest pill I've ever taken and I take 30 various supplements daily. This is so huge and coarse that everytime I take it I'm seriously afraid of choking and have come close several times. The most difficult pill I've ever taken and at 69 I've taken thousands. Good But Large Tablet
Recommending this as the question asks is not a case of black or white. I could recommend this with a serious a qualification or warning. It's a very good product IF a person does not have problems huge (biggest I've ever seen) pills and can handle a very coarse texture, then I'd recommend this. I take many many supplements at the same time and sometimes I'm not sure I can get the pill down so I pass. It has the most siymarin on the market for a low price. Siymarin is the active ingredient in milk thistle and this offers 650mg of it.That's very good but if they only could work on the texture and size then it would be great. I subscribe to a Lab that analyses well known brand supplements for consistency of the product actually containing the amount which is on the label.
