This is my first kindle
This is my first Kindle, so I didn't know what to expect. I'm very happy with it. Granted, the Fire's touchscreen is easier to navigate, but the loooong battery life on this one is wonderful. I learned the buttons and navigation system quickly. It came bundled with a leather case, which I like a lot. Unless I haven't figured it all out yet, it seems to show the books in my library in a list, intead of pictures of each book. That's OK. The long battery life is the best. We get blackouts ever so often, so I wanted to have something I could use during a blackout. The screen does not light up, but a clip on light will take care of that. Oh, and it's a little slimmer, smaller, and more lightweight than the Fire. Very easy for me to read and carry around.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Lightweight with great features
The eReader is in good condition, light weight, easy to use and read from. The only draw back is there is the screen is not back lighted but for this price the screen is clear and easy to read with lights in the room. Do yourself a favor by buying 32GB
Great Tablets. Android O.S. is user friendly for both a newcomer as well as veteran tablet users. Performs well on anything from playing guilty pleasure games (like Slots and Candy Saga) to streaming high definition movies and apps. online without interruption. *However, I do highly recommend the 32GB internal memory version over the cheaper priced 16GB units as the loading of apps over time do build up and can create noticably slower runtimes with the lower memory. (I always run an SD card inside as well but even then the core processing of the internal 32GB was still smoother regardless of external storage card memory) I've had 8 upgraded models over the years, and from experience I now always opt to pay a little extra for the higher memory version rather than regretting the fact that I chose to sacrifice long term efficiency in order to save a few bucks.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
