I purchased my Mitutoyo 0-1" mechanical digital CombiMike for use as a spare in the shop and at my loading bench. If you have never owned one, these are top quality measuring tools and a bargain if you can get one that was taken care of in used condition with case & wrench. Having the mechanical digital scale in SAE and the barrel in Metric is a nice touch for reference back & forth and one less tool taking up space in the box. These mechanical digital Micrometers are accurate and do not rely on batteries so will always work when you need it to. Keep it clean and wipe it once you are done handling it with a clean rag with just a touch of light oil on it to protect metal surfaces from corrosion and this precision instrument will last several lifetimes!
