    Hell yes why spend $$$ much more these batteries are an excellent buy. Only difference I can see is the plastic is not the same as oem. Battery performance is same as name brand .

    These may say Dewalt on the outside but they are not Dewalt made.. they are clever cheap knock offs. Take a Dewalt bought legitimate battery same size same year same numbers and compare them , from the outer shell to the inside components are night and day comparison between the two and the quality of material used, and battery cells are far inferior compared with the Dewalt purchasd ones. Any body who uses these batteries in the manner that any tradesmen would daily put it thru will find our real quick that something a mist

    Poor quality batteries.

    Unfortunately I'm purchasing these batteries because I have dewalt battery operated tools. If I had know the poor quality of these batteries I would not have chosen the Dewalt battery operated tool platform. Our company has a Milwaukee battery operated tool platform and the batteries last much longer. I've had to dispose of four of these Dewalt batteries over this past year. They will not accept a charge. I've used the jump wire technique when the batteries no longer show a charge light. But at a point they stop accepting a charge. Disappointed!

    Give it time

    I’ve only charged these once, I just got them. But they took hours to charge. Fortunately they are holding a charge well so far. I appreciate the charge level indicator because I feel I need to plan ahead they take so long to charge. If one died and I wasn’t ready to go without it I’d be screwed.

    An investment, not a cost.

    It is a Dewalt product. Made well. Charged OK, and overall has given outstanding service. I have seen testing, and overall the name brand accessory gave the best service despite the higher cost. Invest in the name brand. You won't go wrong.
