    Strange movie. Apparently, it was intended as a children's movie but it is too dark and the plot is too complicated for children. It might have been a good adult sy/fy movie except that some of the acting is not too good, and a few parts are too childish. The special effects are excellent. Could have used more character depth. A pretty good movie overall for what it is.

    Lost in Space, This movie should forever Lost in Space!

    There is truly nothing good to say about this movie except it wii help put you to sleep! Practically everything about this movie makes you want to turn it off, except you can't. Firstly you paid for it, secondly everything about this movie is embarassing: The script, the acting, the special effect, the the robots. In short this movie does the "Lost in Space" TV series a gross injustice.

    Not so “Lost” after all.

    When the movie was released I read several disparaging reviews, but I watched the movie then, as it was better than I’d been lead to believe. Characters were more strongly defined, for example.

    It's a good movie, you can watch with the kids.

    It is a bit campy by todays standards, but it is fun, well made, good characters and a story about family. The time travel stuff always makes me crazy, but they have to write themselves out of the plot twists..... but it's a good movie, good fx, good robot, good acting, just a good movie for the family. At 5-10$ it's worth it if you have never seen it.
