    Sony's Weird Kid

    Admitedly, I missed this generation and just recently bought a PS3 after owning a PS4. Too many great games exist on this console, which is a plus!!! That being said, I don't understand how this was supposed to exist as a centerpiece of a home entertainment system. Simply put, the OS is slow. This can make for a troubling experience. The graphics are alright. Sometimes even surprising. However, I will say that a lot of these poor experiences are dimished greatly with a hard drive upgrade. I put in an SSD and my world changed. If you can't afford one, at least go with a faster hard drive with a bigger capacity (maybe a hybrid). It's more surprising than the PS1, not as big of a leap as the PS2 (a classic) and less polished than the PS4 but has way more games. Do it if you're a hardcore ...

    The PS3 I bought doesn’t save your game progress.

    Cod ghost keeps freezing, Any game I played it wouldn’t save my progress. When I play mw2 and get to level 10 on multiplayer, I’d stop playing and then when I open mw2 again I’m back to level one on multiplayer. T

    Good Quality

    The durability of the product is reasonably high. The graphics are what most people would consider for a third generation console. This is the first generation that I'm aware of that happens to use both AV and HDMI for TV-based connection. The storage of these consoles are good, too. The games don't use a lot of data so you're able to save the majority of your games without any worry. The price is right for this being a bygone-era product. For the most part, I am satisfied with having a second PlayStation 3. Now I'm free to have more compatibility at home. The slim PlayStation 3 (the second one of the third generation) is kind of "heavy", so be careful not to drop it!

    The last good "console"

    With next gen consoles these days trying to compete with pc gaming, using heavy amounts of downloadable content and great graphics its nice to have a console that does not require the player to pay to play online and still offer a solid gaming experience. Bravo Sony for creating one of my favorite consoles and possible the greatest, in my opinion, of all time (second to childhood consoles such as n64 and gamecube of course)

    Great PS3

    Product was as advertised. Like the battery operated control, much better the stock sony controllers. Shipping was awesome, product actually showed up a day earlier. Really happy to be able to play old PS3 games like Resistance Fall of Man.
