    Returned camera

    I would have loved this camera for it had the wireless connectivity worked well. Truth be told, I can't understand how Nikon sells cameras with the horrendous Snapbridge Bluetooth connection. I have read of others having similar issues as I had! Sometimes it works, and sometimes not. This is unacceptable to me.

    Complex but simple

    I have been using Nikon cameras since the 1960's and I needed a smaller camera for a Safari. This was recommended because of the digital zoom and the features of the camera. It will hold up to a 256gb memory card, which will hold thousands of photos. You need the size if you are going to record video, since it records in 4K. I chose to buy multiple 64gb cards, so that if one failed, I was not left without memory to save my memories. I'm excited to learn about the camera, but the learning curve was shortened by Nikon staying true to their format for the Auto, Manual, and Shutter or Aperture priority knob. For the price, this is a great value.

    Point and shoot

    Be careful indoors as in low light the camera does not do well. The flash helps but not for distance shots like a graduation. Graduation pics were marginal. Auto Focus is not as fast as the Nikon D3300 but for outdoor wildlife shots this camera excels. One disappointment is that you can not change the filenames from DSCN to anything else to keep camera filenames unique for each camera. All in all it is a good camera. If you could only have one camera, this is a good choice. You can't focus on close objects like an apple on a tree or take macro shots, but for zooming in on the long shot, this camera does very well. For the money, it's a winner.

    Great Camera

    I upgraded to this camera after my Nikon P610 was stolen. Had the P900 also but it was to lens heavy. This is the perfect camera for me. I travel alot and need something lite weight , easy to use , portability , and something with an awesome zoom. That camera does all that. You can zoom in on the moon and its crators like it is next door. Wild life pics and landscape photos are a breeze. And my favoite is beach and surf pics. Have not used video so cannot comment on that. But the photo side is awesome. And very easy to transfer photos to your phone and or share to fb and instagram with the Nikon app. Buy it , its a good camera and a good value.
