Grind the Grain or Coffee
For the purpose I purchased the grinder for it is perfect. Grinds coffee to just the right consistency for my espresso machine. Slower than the burr type grinders but works equally well.

Great grain mill for bread makers
Clean and will mill your grain as you wanted. It is for a small amount of grain at a time (enough for a couple of recipes - two to three cups of flour) as it tends to overheat the Kitchenaid mixer.
