    All controls, paper and output in front

    Printer works great. Scanner initially put a grey shadow over three fourths of the page, but seems OK now. May have been something I did. Had same printer for seven years on a boat and worked perfectly until it blew a gasket and began to pee ink. Ink is pretty expensive, but most ink cartridges for every brand also seem to be.

    “Working” printer doesn’t

    I bought this “working” printer to replace my existing HP Deskjet 3520 because it had quit printing black and I still had quite a few new print cartridges for it. Well, guess what? This one doesn’t print black, either! What are the chances? I’ve run diagnostics and adjustments. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled drivers. I’ve tried both printers on two different computers. Neither will print black. It looks like my only option is to remove and wash the print heads. Not crazy about the effort and expense it would require to return the printer. I would still be out $50 at the end of the day. And the fact that it has the exact same issue as the printer I’m trying to replace could be a coincidence or there might be something else going on that I haven’t been able to discover.

    Not Happy in Buffalo

    It's a nice printer, I had one before. However this one did not work. I think I would know how to set it up since I had one just like it. But, I just put it back in the box and am waiting to send it back. I kept getting the message that one of the cartridges is damaged. That was funny since they were all brand new and came right out of the box. After working on it for 2 hours, it still didn't work. The one I had, I had no problem setting it up, and it worked very nicely.

    Printer head was broken

    I attempted to print a document after installing this product and it did not work. Upon further testing and investigating, I discovered that it was the black ink that wasn't working. I brought the printer to my local computer repair shop and they told me the printer head needed to be replaced. It was not repairable, it had to be replaced. The only reason I gave it 2 stars is because everything else worked just fine. But what good is a printer/copier that doesn't print black ink??
