Giorgio Beverly Hills is an American brand founded in 1961. The company is famous with its striped yellow and black awning, which inspired the package of its perfumes. The first fragrance of the line was launched in 1981 and immediately drew the attention of the celebrities. This scent was one of the first aromas offered via new technology, which allows sales by direct mail. In 1987, the Georgio Beverly Hills fragrance was sold to Avon for an astounding sum of $165 million.

    Before it arrived I was worried a little, because word on the street was that it smelled like bug repellant, specifically Deep Woods Off. But no, I don't think so. When I first spray it, I can see what they mean, but that particular thing they're talking about goes away in the first couple of minutes. What stays behind is kind of replica of the '80s men's Giorgio but it's close enough for me! I also heard that it doesn't last long but thats not completely true either - it does last about as long as other stuff in this price range. Actually I thought the timing of the scent's decay was very tasteful. It's inexpensive enough to check out so I say go for it! I was not paid to write this.

    Not the Vintage Georgio

    I am not happy with the remake of Georgio/Beverly Hills...Not your fault...I have been using the original for many years and the new does not compare in any way. I am purchasing all of the (Vintage original) that I can find. Thanks and have a great day! Gene/Teresa

    This came to me in a reasonable amount of time and at a Great Value! I've priced this in several well named stores we all know and shop at on a weekly basis. It smells just like I remembered it when I first got a bottle of it from a female years ago. I get plenty of compliments on how great I smell even hours after I put the cologne on.
