    i dont know what it is called, but i jumped in at the last few seconds to win the bid,.. but it was still at a great price and i needed them, we vacation in the hills of WV and dont get cell service , we use these to communicate with each other, this particular brand we found out has like weather channel updates and stuff, ... nice features a little techy for me but communicate great

    Very compact yet powerful. Easy to operate.

    I've had many FRS radios over the years and really like Midland products. These even surpassed those expectations. Got them for 10 and 12 year old and they had no trouble learning the easy control setup. They used them over 1/4 mile through dense woods on the crown of a hill and everything was crystal clear. They are super small for being so powerful. Great little radios.
