The best X10 wall switch
As someone who has purchased and installed many X10 products over the past two decades, the WS467 is an outstanding addition! The Soft Start feature prevents the "shock" usually associated with early, unexpected burnout of incandescent bulbs. Also, local dimming makes it unnecessary to use a hand-held remote to dim a lamp. Can’t dim light “locally” from switch
Bought this by accident. Didn’t do enough checking and thought this switch might be a newer version of a WS12A. The WS467 switch can’t be dimmed “locally” from the light switch. Something else “remotely” has to dim the light. Don’t know why the feature of dimming “locally” wouldn’t be put in the switch. Plus the one I bought appears defective because it turns on by itself sometimes. Removed and replaced with a WS12A which has the “locally” and “remotely” dimming features.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Replaced an old module
I had several X10 devices on my electric grid and they died one after another, this type of module in most cases. I still have one spot where I am using it and bought module when original one went belly up. Reliable remote switching
I was having issues with an existing x-10 wall switch. I ordered four units, installed one. It did NOT resolve the flickering issues. Turns out, a 'bad' fluorescent bulb in the circuit was causing the issues. Changed that bulb for an incandescent and the problem was solved. The new unit works as well as the old one. Night Light / ON/OFF switch
Needed this exact switch. It is for Incandescent Lights only, but I use it in a stairwell with an LED bulb. When the light is switched OFF, because it is an LED bulb, it does not fully turn off. Excellent for incandescent lighting
These switches offer soft start, so in theory they prolong the life of incandescent lighting. These switches will not work reliably with CFL or LED lighting. There are other non-soft start X10 switches for that, but they cost more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
