    Freakin' awesome

    I live in bitter cold South Dakota. Two things get really cold on me when I am blowing snow. My hands and my feet. I have taken care of one problem. The heated hand grips. They were very easy to install (thanks to a friend's heated garage) and I couldn't wait to try them. I believe the air temp was -17 when I was out moving snow from a 4 1/2 dusting. I couldn't believe how nice and warm my hands stayed for about an hour of moving snow. These were worth every penny.

    Good Product with Poor Installation Instructions

    Photo of how to properly place the hand grip so the wire is in the proper location is not clear nor is the description. Since you are instructed to glue on the grips prior to completing the electrical connections this can be a problem. Do a trial installation and check that all moving parts are operational prior to applying glue.

    Seem to work well, good installation instructions

    These heated hand grips installed well on my Ariens deluxe 28. It took some time and experimenting to find the best orientation for the grips on the handles, and carefully routing for the wiring under the dashboard. The epoxy in my kit was a little chunky, but it set up fine. I took a tip from somewhere on the internet to use some spray foam insulation inside the handlebars to help keep the heat where it is needed. Not sure if that helps or not. The handles get warm, and should help keep my fingers from freezing. I haven't tested yet in very cold weather, but it was nice in the 20s. The grip on these is much better than the hard rubber that was on the machine.

    Very nice handles

    Even without the heating feature these handles are an upgrade from the stock handles, they are much more comfortable and have better grip. They heat up very nice. The instructions were hot garbage, but if you have half a brain you can figure out what to do as I only have 1/4 of a brain and was able to figure it out

    Ariens heated grips.

    Install went as expected. You must be careful about routing the connecting harness under the control panel. You do not want it to rub against the control handles. The 2 top plastic connectors that are supposed to connect by putting them into pre-drilled holes must be removed as there are no pre-drilled holes in that area and they are in the way. Just use zip ties to put them where they need to be. Warms up as they are supposed to. I also put extra epoxy onto the handle grips and then fastened them to the handlebar with 2 rivets into each grip. Pays to be picky about how you do it.
