My tech felt confident that the weld would hold & hoped that the electrical components would last "a while." So far, the issues that led to this purchase are resolved, & I hope this item does last for many more years.

If you mark an item as shipped, you should actually ship it. In my opinion, the eBay system should not allow you to mark an item as shipped as soon as a label is printed from the seller's dashboard.
