Extremely RARE in High Grade on ANY auctions this coin is caring the grim tale of being a compensating money for the German Families whose sons are died in American Revolutionary War (1775-1783). The Landgrave Friedrich II received large subsidies from England for the soldiers He hired to fight on American Continent. This coin is a real piece of history. Heavy usage as well as low mintage left only single specimens in MS-Uncirculated condition. We are offering one treasure coin with full dull luster preserved, sharp uncirculated details of the portrait as well as smallest details of the Order of the Golden Lion on reverse. Another collectible and investment item!!”
