Excellent Vampire Movie
I loved this movie when I 1st saw it so many years ago on cable, then DVD and now Bluray!! Brad Pitt and Tom Cruise did an excellent job portraying vampires of old. I was completely into the movie from the opening scene until the unexpected ending. Bluray quality visuals seemed a only a step up from the DVD original but still a pretty picture. Interview...
A brilliant film. The only problem I had was that it wasn`t long enough, their is so much more to this story.....but alas, you can`t expect Director`s to make a movie as long and as detailed as the book. Great performances by Tom Cruise and Brad Pitt, lots of praise to Mr. Banderas for his role as well. You like vampires and the whole goth image....SEE THIS MOVIE.

I am so happy I was able to find this movie on blue Ray it is so much better picture and sound wise compared to the copy I had on regular dvd. The copy I had started skipping so it was time for a new copy and I’m so happy with this purchase.

Whether you are a fan of the genre or not, you must admit the sets, costumes, makeup, and cinematograohy are really gorgeous. Those that hate Tom Cruise were mostly surprised by how well he pulled off his role.. anyway he is not in most of this film. Young Kirsten Dunst as the doll-like Claudia absolutely makes this film a classic. It's HER movie! For fans I also recommend "The Hunger" with Catherine Deneuve and David Bowie, as well as "Nosferatu" with Klaus Kinski. Whether you are a fan of the genre or not, you must admit the sets, costumes, makeup, and cinematograohy are really gorgeous. Those that hate Tom Cruise were mostly surprised by how well he pulled off his role.. anyway he is not in most of this film.
