It also features a compact cylindrical design and is easily identifiable with the vibrant green covering. The Viridian C5L Universal Sub-Compact Green Sight is compatible with all pistols that have a Picatinny model of rail. This allows them to be compatible with conceal carry handguns. They are also compatible with larger guns that are meant to be seen and that use large exterior hip holsters. These replacements will allow your Glock or another pistol model to maintain visibility of up to 100 yards during the day. Do A Little " Surgery" First
I like these batteries...a lot. However, as many other reviewers have stated, the green, plastic coating on the batteries makes them often times get stuck in whatever you are using them in. This was the second time I had to drill a small hole in the stuck battery and use a EZ-Out Screw Extractor to get the battery out. Please...do yourself a favor...cut off the green plastic coating on the battery before installing them in anything. And this begs the question...Why does Viridian encase these batteries in the plastic coating. I know of no other major manufacturers that do this. All it accomplishes is trouble. Seems like good value so far
I haven't used it for very long but it seems to work as advertised. If you're going to use it in something like an Armalaser GTO you need to peel off the rubber side coating to get it to fit. This size battery is impossible to find in my local area and some places want 5-10 dollars for one battery, and some of them are of questionable branding. green plastic coating ??
These are great batteries, but in order for them to fit in my LazerMax, I had to peel/cut off the plastic coating, I have read this in other reviews also. The extra coating makes it hard in some applications for the proper battery contact.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

15 year shelf life

If you plan to use these batteries in a Streamlight TLR-6, you must remove the green plastic from around the batteries first, or the light /laser will not activate. Take a knife and cut the plastic, then peel the wrap off. These batteries definitely increased the output of the light. Outdoors the light was impressive for 100 lumens. Had to remove green plastic coating
I bought these as backup battery for my Armalaser ltriggerguard laser sight. The battery in the Armalaser uses the side of the battery as it’s negative connection. The green plastic coating on these batteries wouldn’t allow contact. Not a big problem, just carefully remove it and the battery works well in the Armalaser sight. Having removed the plastic coating, I was worried the batteries would contact each other’s positive/negative when put in a little ziplock bag, so I wrapped cellotape around the batteries were the green plastic used to be. It sounds like a lot of work, but it wasn’t: 5 minutes total. Don’t know about their ability to withstand recoil or their battery life as I haven’t needed to replace my current battery.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
