I love it, so easy to use, and as there's actually real letters to type on...good for people like me who need to 'feel'.

Simply, it does not work! - apart form as a very basic mobile phone to make calls and receive and send texts. None of the advanced features will operate, it will not receive e-mail, or run any app. I have spent ages trying my SIM provider [Talktalk] helpdesk who say that it is not loading properly. Can't update any software because microsoft have withdrawn support. A total waste of money. A shame, because I bought it specifically because of its features like the keyboard Do not buy under any circumstances!!

This phone is easy to use if you have had Nokia's before much like N95,5800 to navigate round using Symbian operating system and Ovi. This is the main reason why I bought the phone. The price is very low when you look at the features of the phone. The only downside is the operating system is slow compared to the latest products. Free Sat Nav for life and updated maps is a big plus with the N97. The phone navigates the internet well and you can look at full web pages. However it isn't as quick as later Android phones and doesn't have as many apps although more than enough for most. The FM transmitter is brilliant if you want to play your music collection through the car radio and don't have a USB in the car. The massive storage with over 30GB memory provided is massive compared to even the latest smartphones and the camera with five mega pixels takes clear photos. You don't have to carry a digital camera around for holiday snaps. Overall the phone has many features and a familiar operating system which is very easy to use and a massive memory. However navigating the internet can feel slow if you have used Android phones. I will be looking at the Nokia Windows 7 phones hopefully they will be more affordable in the future. These phones are excellent value for money at the moment remember they were the flagship phone only two years ago and cost a fortune. OveRead full review
Good phone , with many features, large memory of 32gb, large screen, good camera with good quality 5mpx with flash, has a lot of features, u can move the applications from your screen easily, easy to use the internet, social networks, qwerty keyboard, good to text messages etc., the negatives in my opininon is the O.S. is outdated, the phone is heavy, and the calls inconsistent sometimes.
good little phone, nice shape and size to hold. I prefer the pop out keyboard as a touch screen isn't as responsive. Primary use for buying phone was connecting to free wifi for use with skype when abroad. As I use a payg sim, biggest mistake was to sign up to nokia checking my emails for free, this service like any service is imposable to get rid off, therefor it just constantly chipped away at my payg sim until empty; very annoying!!. The only way round it was to put in a sim with no money and my other two sims into my old reliable Chinese iphone copy, its been through the wars and still going unlike some of the ipones i have seen. If you are on a contract sim then the nokia N97 is a good buy and depending on your age you can get loads of useless apps that you can tell all your friends on ''in your face'' and I'm sure they will be so impressed.Read full review
