This is one of the most important events in Pro Wrestling history, and possibly the most important in American Pro Wrestling history, period. It was the event that changed the course of Pro Wrestling, or "Sports Entertainment" as it is now commonly referred to. Lots of events have claimed to do so, but this event actually did. It was the World Wrestling Federation, taking on it's competition of two rival companies, Extreme Championship Wrestling, and World Championship Wrestling, in a winner takes all event to crown the undisputed KING of Professional Wrestling... at least the top in the United States. This event also has one of the most shocking betrayals in Wrestling history. Edge & Christian (WWF) vs. Mike Awesome & Lance Storm (ECW) This match is a good way to open the show. It's really good and sets the tone for the action to come. By the way, I'm gonna shoot. Everyone sh*ts on Mike Awesome for leaving ECW to go to WCW. He is called names like "Judas" by Joey Styles. Let me point something out to all of you marks!! Taz left ECW, the Dudleys left ECW, Sandman, Terry Funk and pretty much everyone else other than Paul's buddy, Tommy Dreamer. Why do none of these guys get slammed so hard? The reason that ECW guys were so bitter, is because Awesome went to WCW instead of WWF. He wasn't getting paid when he was supposed to, so he left for a GUARANTEE of money so he could provide for himself and for his family. If Mike Awesome is a "Judas" then so is Taz, Raven, The Dudley Boyz, Terry Funk, Mick Foley, Bam Bam Bigelow, Steve Austin, Chris Jericho, Rey Mysterio and anyone else who left. Stop bad mouthing Mike Awesome, he's dead now. What more do you people want... Nick Patrick (WCW Referee) vs. Earl Hebner (WWF Referee) Sean O'Haire & Chuck Polumbo (WCW Tag Team Champs) vs. APA (WWF Tage Team Champs) This match was really cool. Lots of hard hitting power moves and good brawling, especially from APA (Faarooq & Bradshaw). This was back before Bradshaw was the @-hole character, JBL. Billy Kidman (WCW Cruiserweight Champ) vs. X-Pac (WWF Light Heavyweight Champ) Fast paced, with nice top rope moves, especially from crowd favorite, Billy Kidman. Great match!! William Regal (WWF Commissioner) vs. Raven (ECW) This match was really good. They work really well together despite their styles conflicting so much. Big Show, Albert & Billy Gunn (WWF) vs. Hugh Morrus, Kanyon & Shawn Stasiak (WCW) I like this match, but I wish Stasiak wasn't in it. I have several reasons to not like Stasiak. TAJIRI (WWF) vs. Taz (ECW) Like Raven, Taz ditched the WWF to rejoin ECW and fight against the WWF. The match is great. The martial arts style of Tajiri compliments Taz's judo very well, and vice-versa. This is one of the best on here. *WWF Hardcore Championship* Rob Van Dam (ECW / Challenger) vs. Jeff Hardy (WWF / Champ) High spots, aerial moves, hardcore brawling and pretty fast paced to boot. Very good match!! *First Ever Tag Team Bra & Panties Match* Torrie Wilson & Stacy Keibler (WCW) vs. Trish Stratus & Lita (WWF) *The Inaugural Brawl* DDP, Booker T (WCW Champion), Rhyno & The Dudley Boyz (WCW / ECW Alliance) vs. Steve Austin (WWF Champion), Chris Jericho, Kane, Undertaker & Kurt Angle (WWF) This is quite possibly the coolest, most anticipated match ever. The best of WCW, ECW and the WWF all in one ring at the same time battling for undisputed Sports Entertainment supremacy. "Don't Trust Anybody"!!Read full review
The DVD is great quality, sound and picture wise. The DVD menu is a little lacking; Nowhere near the quality of today’s WWE DVD menus with movies and music. This DVD alone has 29 exclusive interviews. The show was a stinker in my opinion. Only two matches out of the ten match card are worth watching and one of the good matches technically doesn't even have wrestlers in it. Jeff Hardy Vs. Rob Van Dam for the WWF Hardcore title is the only memorable, legitimate wrestling match on the card. They do plenty of neat stuff with the weapons and the first five or seven minutes of the match takes place in the ring with no weapon play at all. They even go into the crowd which is always exciting. It's worth watching. The second match as I said before wasn't even a contest between two wrestlers. The match I'm talking about was WCW Senior Referee Nick Patrick Vs. WWF Senior Official Earl Hebner. I was laughing and yelling the whole match because it was so great to watch. It was definitely entertaining and again, worth a watch. Just to not be negative to the wrestlers, let's just say the other matches were average. The main event was cool, but the only thing it was meant to do was to do the Steve Austin heel turn and after that happens, you pretty much forget the 25+ minute match that lead up to it.Read full review
I watched the DVD 📀. I can't believe this event took place 20 years ago. I enjoyed the DVD 📀too bad WWE botched this angle. I would recommend 👌this DVD.

I loved the WWF back in 2000-2001. The Invasion Era was my favorite storyline ever. Buying this DVD brought back a lot of good memories and I got to relive the Invasion. It includes most of my favorite wrestlers of all time, and had a great plot to it. I am very happy to have this DVD, which is in great condition. I love the DVD!
